Recruiting a non-dynamic generalist is acceptable if the Hire Sales Reps organisation has a tried-and-true sales procedure. The primary advantage of being a non-dynamic generalist is that we are more common and easier to hire. But here's the thing: if you can consistently close the larger accounts on your own, Time to Hire may not be the best use of your resources. Due to the lack of established sales benchmarks, startups may require assistance in hiring their first sales representative.
