Animal Biotech Industries, Inc. is a private corporation that was established in 1990 to support the biomedical research community by supplying them with live high quality research porcine models as well as high quality post mortem tissues, organs, and glands.

Deborah A. Shepherd, CEO and President of Animal Biotech Industries, Inc., holds a B.S. degree in Laboratory Animal Science from Delaware Valley University. She is a certified Laboratory Animal Technician through The American Association of Laboratory Animal Science and has been named DVB AALAS Manager of the Year. Deborah is responsible for the general vision, growth and economic stability of the corporation. As a hands-on person, she is involved in the daily operations at ABI and initiates new changes and policies, as well as directs quality control and the efficiency of the operation for the corporation. Deborah oversees the training and monitoring of all staff and monitors and maintains excellent customer service and customer relations policies.

Dr. Gary L. Brubaker, Chairman Emeritus of Animal Biotech Industries, Inc., holds a B.S. degree in Animal Science from Delaware Valley University, as well as an M.S. and a Ph.D. in Reproductive Physiology from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. As founder of ABI, Dr. Brubaker has recently retired from the daily activities of ABI, but he continues to offer his expertise through consulting on behalf of the corporation.
